Motorboat Monthly - sea trial Evo 750

"An interesting corollary of the hull design is the wash, or rather the lack of it. Trying to get exciting action photographs proves alsmost impossible as the boat slips neatly through the water like an Olympic swimmer, with barely a splash. This then, is a concept that works, and works well. For a trade off of a slightly narrower beam and a fairly basic fit out, the return is genuine innovation and efficiency gains that really do pay off. Figures from the 70hp Yamaha instrumentation say it all. During 20 hours of use, it consumed 30 gallons of fuel, a quite remarkable average of just 1,5 gallons an hour."
